Say Hello: Nicholas Keel, The Green at Northpark

July 16, 2018 / North Shore, Key Notes

Since The Green at Northpark began to take shape, property manager Nicholas Keel has been hard at work preparing to welcome new residents. Prior to leading the team at The Green, Nicholas was the property manager at Chapel Creek Apartments in Mandeville (another Key Real Estate Company property) since 2013. With nearly a decade of experience in property management and leasing, Nicholas is the perfect person to turn the North Shore’s newest luxury apartments into a happy home for our residents.

What does a day in your shoes look like?
After my commute across the Causeway, I open the doors to the property at 9:00 a.m. As the property manager, I wear a lot of hats – from leasing and maintenance to vendor management and customer service. With an “open door” policy, I am always 100% available to our residents and the team so my to-do list each day depends on what our residents and coworkers need to have a good experience. It also goes without saying that a day in my shoes would also look pretty stylish if I do say so myself, I love a good pair of shoes!

What is one thing new residents should know about you?
I am 100% dedicated to making The Green at Northpark the place our residents are proud to call home – and excited to invite their friends too!

What is your favorite thing about your job?
The fast pace and versatility. It’s never boring and I get to meet so many fun and interesting residents.

What feature of The Green at Northpark are you most excited about?
I would say that the feature I am most excited about is a tossup between the 2-story fitness facility and the “Hemmingway” themed library. I’ve worked in property management for a long time but I’ve never seen amenities quite like these!

What do you like to do outside of work?
Family and friends are held dear to my heart. I like to spend as much quality time with them as I can. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoy music and love going to live shows and concerts. Taking a stroll down Royal street on a Saturday afternoon and popping in a few art galleries is a lot of fun too. When you live in such an amazing area, you are never short on activities!

If you could host a pool party at The Green at Northpark with any 3 celebrities, who would you invite?
Now this would be great. First, I’d invite Ellen DeGeneres because she would bring all sorts of fun games to play and would keep everyone laughing. Next, I’d invite Bobby Flay so he could get to work on our grills, flaming up all sorts of good eats for us. And finally, Adam Levine would have to be my third invite because, with a party like this one, you absolutely need show-stopping entertainment!
