On April 25-27, Key property managers from McAllen, Tex. to McComb, Miss. gathered to commemorate a year of hard work and professional accomplishments. Hosted at The Palace Casino in Biloxi, The Rockstar Awards included time for staff bonding, education seminars, and plenty of fun.
The event started on Wednesday in true rock n’ roll fashion with a tour bus escorting property managers to the hotel in Biloxi. Upon arrival, the Key Team was treated to a happy hour before setting sale on a sunset cruise aboard a beautiful antique schooner.
The next morning began bright and early with friendly competition as the staff dueled it out in a rock wall climbing competition. Lakeside Villas property manager Angela Bernard out climbed the field to bring home the gold medal. After an impressive showing of strength and determination, the group came back together for team building on the ropes course and zip line.
Following a little rest and recovery, Key’s regional management team lead an afternoon of professional development education sessions. Property managers enjoyed group discussions on leading with confidence, time management, and career growth as well as a vendor presentation from Apartments.com.
As Friday morning rolled around, it was time for the main event – The Rockstar Awards Breakfast. Key properties and their staff were recognized for outstanding success and commitment to company values. The following teams were honored for their work:

As the week came to a close, the entire team was energized and ready to return to their properties
